JUNSHI is the ancient Japanese ritual performed by the servants of a slain Samurai master. It was law that when your master was slain...you would honor him by following him in death. Now; of course, we as Christians do not kill ourselves...but the bible does tell us to kill our flesh, die to ourselves, and die to sin. To live in a way worthy of the name "Christian" does require us to consider our old worldly lives as dead.
